Record player w. integrated preamplifier

Turntables with integrated preamplifiers have the advantage that you do not need another device for use with your stereo system without a phono input. Since the phono amplifier is integrated in the turntable, you can connect it like a CD player with a high level input of your stereo system.
Without this turntable preamplifier, if there is no phono input on the power amplifier, you will need an external device (phono preamplifier) to preamplify the low output currents of a cartridge.
